Rowan Builders was born from the heart — named after my daughter, Rowan, and inspired by the kind of future I want to build for her and for children everywhere. More than just a construction company, Rowan Builders is the product of faith, family, and a deep commitment to serving others.
This business is a calling, not just a career. God has placed on my heart a desire to create — to use my hands and my experience to build not only structures, but peace, safety, and joy in people’s lives. I believe that the work we do is a reflection of His love: thoughtful, intentional, and always grounded in purpose.
After over a decade in the construction industry, I realized that my greatest fulfillment comes from helping others — especially families navigating unique challenges. That’s why Rowan Builders goes beyond general building and light electrical work to specialize in creating custom sensory environments for children — designed in collaboration with licensed occupational therapists and built to nurture healing, learning, and growth.
Who We Are
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business from San Diego State University and bring over 11 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on thousands of projects across the Bay Area — from high-end residences in Atherton and Hillsborough to major commercial developments like San Francisco’s Chase Center Arena. In 2021, I built my own home in Woodside, California — an experience that reaffirmed my belief that a home is more than just wood and drywall; it’s a sacred space.
At Rowan Builders, we offer a range of services including handyman work, general construction, light residential electrical work, and our specialty: custom-designed sensory structures for children with developmental and sensory needs. Each space is thoughtfully crafted with the child’s well-being at its core. I believe it’s no coincidence this calling became clear after the birth of my daughter — that was God’s timing, not mine.
